Emily
Gold Artist
I never pictured myself doing hair. I actually applied to be in culinary courses at Berks Career and Technology Center. I marked Cosmetology as my second choice just in case I didn’t make it. Obviously I didn’t get accepted into culinary but I’m so glad I didn’t! I loved doing hair! It was such a good way for me to get lots of creative energy out on a live canvas. I started working at Lords and Ladies salon when I was 16. I assisted all throughout high school. When I graduated high and tech school, I got my Cos license and my diploma and went right to working. I took Lords and Ladies graduate classes all through summer of 2019. When fall came I noticed a lack in my work. I knew I could do better. Just so happens my good friend told me her boss was looking for a new apprentice in a different town. I applied immediately and Eliza just clicked! I worked under Eliza Dudonis as an apprentice for 6 months and have since advanced to Gold Artist. I love doing color and styling.
I would love to see you in my chair soon!
